Life lately has been good. I know for the past year or so things for me have been up and down, and everyone around me has seen it. One day I was happy, the next I was down in the dumps. But the past few weeks I have been feeling consistently happy, and it just gets better everyday. That's not to say that everything in my life is going 100% awesome, it just means that I am not letting the bad stuff get me down.

Tonight I started sewing again. I am working on a Hello Kitty dress as my first project. So far I have done everything I can without getting more fabric. I still need to buy some pink fabric for the skirt and waist. Here is a sketch of what I plan for it to look like. I think it's really cute. ^^



I want to make other things too, but have yet to plan them out. I am going to make my own Halloween costume this year, but I still need some ideas. If anyone stumbles across this and has an idea, don't hesitate to suggest something. I am open to any and all ideas you have for me.

But anyways, life is good. Very good. And I plan on blogging a bit more, since lately I have had this uncontrollable urge to just WRITE! I will see you around, fellow Xanga users. Stay cool. 8D

My mom almost died last night. She didn't but still... It's scary to think that she could've.

Her blood sugar was so low that her body completely shut down and she stopped breathing completely. They had to resuscitate her. Luckily my step dad was working last night and was at home. If he wasn't, then she would have died because my brother and sister were already asleep.

I... I don't know what else to say right now. I am still in shock over all of this.

I am clearing out my bookmarks in firefox because I have a LOT of things there. It gets in the way when I am trying to just find something real quick. I have tried organizing them into folders, but it really doesn't help too much. =[ So, to try and fix that, I will be putting a list of the things that are hogging up most of the space... my DIY tutorials! Feel free to use these, I don't own them, they're just things I want to try out.

Note : A lot of these DIYs have to do with clothing. What can I say? I am a girl and thus LOVE clothes. =] Oh, and I haven't tried most of these, so they may suck.
